Your information

Privacy Policy

Effective July 17, 2026

Privacy in plain language

Chloe uses personal information to answer inquiries, plan Pilates sessions and events, send occasional updates about classes, events, and services, operate the website, and protect it from abuse. People may opt out of promotional updates at any time. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The website’s forms send submissions through a Google Apps Script web app. The site does not use a third-party analytics service.

Information we collect

Information you choose to submit

The information depends on the form you use:

  • General contact form: name, email address, the type of session or service that interests you, and your message.
  • Private-session inquiry: name, email address, neighborhood or city, preferred Pilates style, preferred schedule, and the goals, preferences, injuries, or other considerations you choose to describe.
  • Event inquiry: name, email address, approximate event location, event type, date or timeframe, estimated group size, setting, and the event context or goals you choose to describe.
  • Newsletter signup: email address.

Please do not use these forms for emergencies or send detailed medical records, financial information, government identification numbers, or other information that is not needed for the inquiry.

Information collected when you visit the site

Cloudflare hosts and helps secure the website. Like most hosting and security providers, Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, date and time, network and security signals, and diagnostic or request logs.

Cloudflare’s technical processing supports hosting, delivery, security, and troubleshooting; it is not used by Chloe to build advertising profiles.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • answer questions and communicate about requested services;
  • evaluate, schedule, personalize, and provide private Pilates sessions;
  • plan and coordinate events;
  • send occasional updates about classes, schedules, events, and services to people who have submitted a form, subject to their right to opt out;
  • understand basic website use and improve site content, performance, and accessibility;
  • detect spam, troubleshoot problems, maintain security, and prevent misuse;
  • keep appropriate business, tax, insurance, and legal records; and
  • comply with law and protect the rights and safety of visitors, clients, Chloe, and others.

How forms and service providers work

Form submissions are sent to a Google Apps Script web app. Google Apps Script and related Google services process the submitted fields so the message can be delivered to the private recipient configured inside Google Apps Script. The recipient address is not placed in the public website files. The handler sends a message through Google’s mail service; it does not write submissions to a website database or spreadsheet.

The newsletter form follows the same delivery route. Chloe manages email updates manually through Google services. No separate newsletter provider is used. People who submit a form may receive occasional updates about classes, events, schedules, or services. A recipient may opt out by replying to an update email with an unsubscribe request. The request will be processed within 10 business days. A minimal suppression record may be kept so the opt-out can continue to be honored. This policy will be updated before a separate email or newsletter provider is used.

Service providers include:

  • Google, for Apps Script, form processing, email delivery, and associated account storage; and
  • Cloudflare, for website hosting, content delivery, TLS/HTTPS, security, and operational logging.

These providers process information for their own documented service, security, and legal purposes as well as on our instructions. Their handling is also governed by their terms and privacy documentation.

Analytics

Chloe does not use a third-party analytics service or set analytics cookies. If analytics is considered later, we will review what it collects, its purpose, retention, service-provider terms, visitor choices, and consent requirements before enabling it. This policy will be updated before analytics collection begins.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. The factors used to decide how long information is kept include whether an inquiry or client relationship remains active, whether the information is still needed to provide a requested service or honor an email preference, the sensitivity of the information, and applicable legal, tax, insurance, security, and dispute-resolution needs.

  • Inquiries and service records: kept while reasonably useful for responding to the inquiry, providing services, maintaining appropriate client and business records, and meeting safety, insurance, tax, dispute, and other legitimate operational or legal needs.
  • Email-update information: kept while updates may appropriately be sent. If a person opts out, a minimal suppression record may be kept as needed to honor that choice.
  • Cloudflare logs: kept according to the Cloudflare products and account settings used for hosting, delivery, security, and troubleshooting, together with Cloudflare’s applicable retention practices.
  • Google services: copies of form messages, sent or received email, and related account records are managed according to the working account’s operational needs and Google’s applicable settings and retention practices.

We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve a dispute, enforce an agreement, or protect safety and security.

When we share information

We may share information:

  • with service providers that help operate the website and communications, as described above;
  • with professional advisers such as legal, accounting, insurance, or security advisers when reasonably necessary;
  • when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request;
  • to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or threats to rights or safety; or
  • as part of a business reorganization or transfer, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate for a small service business, including HTTPS through Cloudflare, private Google Apps Script configuration for the form recipient, limited service-provider access, and spam controls. No online system or email service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please send only information needed for your request.

Your choices and requests

You may:

  • choose not to submit a form;
  • leave optional form fields blank;
  • opt out of promotional updates by replying to any update email with an unsubscribe request or by using the website contact form; the request will be processed within 10 business days;
  • use browser privacy controls; and
  • ask to access, correct, or delete information by using the contact form.

Opting out of promotional updates does not prevent service-related messages that are necessary to answer an active inquiry or provide a requested service. We may need enough information to verify and fulfill a request. Some records may be kept where required or permitted by law.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may use the contact form to request deletion. A parent or guardian should submit any inquiry about services for a minor.

California privacy considerations

California privacy rights depend on the law and whether its coverage thresholds apply. Where applicable, California residents may have rights to know or access categories and specific pieces of personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete information, receive information about collection and disclosure, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service when exercising a right.

Chloe does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The site does not use third-party analytics, analytics cookies, or targeted advertising. If California law applies to a request, it can be submitted through the contact form. We will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, forms, providers, or legal requirements change. The policy will show its effective date. If a change is material, we will provide notice appropriate to the change before or when it takes effect.

For a privacy question or request, use the contact form. Do not use the form for an emergency.
